If the 8K (mirror) stainless steel is accidentally scratched, how to rescue it? If the scratch is not serious, during the mirror polishing process, you can slow down the speed of the feeding roller and lower the grinding head to make the scratched area as smooth as possible.
It is generally understood that the mirror stainless steel scratches appear in the following situations:
1. Before processing, the plate is scratched, which is not obvious, so it is necessary to judge the severity of the scratch. If the scratch area and scratch depth have exceeded the customer's acceptance of the final product effect, then the sheet that meets the requirements should be replaced, that is, it is very important for the processing operator to check.
2. The plate has been mirror-finished, but it was accidentally scratched during the filming process. There are many kinds of such scratches, such as: point scratches, linear scratches, and large-area scratches. Point-like scratches, no matter the depth, can be repaired by argon arc welding, then polished with a polisher, and then polished twice or more by mirror polishing equipment, which can basically solve this problem.
If it is repaired on the bright surface, the polishing method can be used, and the polishing wheel with different meshes can be used for repeated grinding. Generally, sandblasting is used for matt surface repair, which requires special equipment. If the drawing panel is done in the early stage, it also needs special equipment for processing. No matter which method is used above, the surface must be passivated in the end. It is judged as a slight scratch. If it is a mirror surface, you can use polishing wax to polish the stainless steel surface. If it is a wire drawing, you can use a wire drawing machine to wire the stainless steel surface.
3. Linear scratches, which are what we call scratches. The treatment of scratches is relatively difficult, and the shallow scratches can be solved by the above method (slow down the speed of the feed roller and lower the grinding head). Deep scratches are not easy to deal with. Lishun Stainless recommends that you try to avoid scratched areas when machining and cutting mirror panel materials.
In addition, talking about large-scale scratches and scratches, there are also two cases of deep and shallow scratches, and the disposal methods are the same as above.
If it's the second scratch case, it's trickier. Because such secondary scratches should be avoided as much as possible. It is recommended that you reduce or avoid the possibility of scratches on the mirror panel by the following methods: stick a protective film on the surface of the board, pack the board with a wooden frame, put cardboard or plastic boards on the upper and lower sides of the board, pack the whole with waterproof paper, and expressly indicate "protection" on the board or packaging surface. Good board, don't scratch" and other words. If the finished mirror stainless steel plate has scratches, it can basically be done according to the method mentioned above. If it is a semi-finished equipment, and the surface is mirrored with scratches, you need to use a variety of polishing equipment. For example, a hand-held polishing machine that can replace a variety of polishing wheels is matched to achieve a better repair effect.
