The main methods of galvanizing:

Hot-Dip Galvanizing

Hot dip galvanizing is the most common galvanizing method. The process is to heat the steel workpiece to a certain temperature and then immerse it in liquid zinc to cause a chemical reaction between the zinc and the steel surface to form a zinc-iron alloy layer, which is then cooled to form a uniform galvanized layer.

Electrogalvanizing

Zinc Spraying

Spray galvanizing is to spray zinc particles onto the surface of the workpiece through a spray gun to form a zinc layer. This method is often used on large structures or older pieces that need repair.

Advantages: Suitable for large-scale structures and on-site processing.

Application: Large steel structures, bridges, etc.


Mechanical Galvanizing

The zinc is adhered to the surface of the workpiece under the action of friction and impact between zinc powder and the workpiece, forming a galvanized layer. This process does not require an electric current or a liquid medium.

Advantages: Able to provide a uniform and dense zinc coating.

Application: Commonly used for anti-corrosion treatment of small parts, such as bolts, nuts, etc.
